Thursday, October 30th...PUMPKIN MATH!!!
We started out making lots of predictions - height, weight, circumference, diameter, number of seeds...
We worked really well in groups!
We predicted the weight of our pumpkins by comparing them with how heavy one pound of salt or five pounds of sugar felt.
We had wonderful parent helpers to guide our work!
Now, to check our predictions...how much does it really weigh?
How many seeds are in a pumpkin??
So...what's the best way to count??

Friday, October 31...FALL FESTIVAL DAY!!
We started off the day with our annual Walk for the Homeless. We were with our kindergarten buddy class.
Then...the Fall Festival Celebration...
We decorated pumpkins, played games, ate snacks, and...
became toilet paper mummies!
